Edna Engelson, age 103, of St. Paul. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Engelson; parents, Ben & Anna Milavitz; brothers, Lloyd, Sheridan and Albin Milavitz; sisters, Ruth Pomish and Hattie Levenson.

Survived by son, Lanny (Charlotte) Berke; brother, Seymour (Sharon) Milavitz; grandchildren, Julie (Dave) Robinson, Lori Berke (Jeff Dick) and great-granddaughter, Avery Berke; also many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, step-children and step-grandchildren and devoted special friends, Lee Silverstein, Marsi Herman and Ida Ellis.

Edna was a teacher and had her own electrolysis business until age 90. She was admired for her crochet work which won many awards. She always had a kind word for everyone.

Funeral service FRIDAY 1 PM, HODROFF-EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 126 E. Franklin Ave., Minneapolis. Burial Sunday 12 noon, Superior Hebrew Cemetery, Superior, WI. Memorials preferred to Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, 3001 Metro Drive, Suite 100, Bloomington, MN 55425. SHIVA at Sholom Home West, 3620 Phillips Pkwy, St. Louis Park, Sunday 7 pm.
